Ron, Harry and Hermione

Okay I am a Harry Potter Fan I have read all the books and have seen the movies.  I was thrilled to learn that J.K. Rowling is writing another novel this one is for adults and is supposed to be very different to the Harry Potter series, I for one will be checking that out when it is released.  I think these images of Ron, Harry and Hermione from Tiddly Inks are the sweetest.  I decided to make this card gender neutral.

Guest DT at Mad for Markers

I was randomly chosen to be November's Anything Goes guest DT at the Mad for Markers Challenge blog and I am thrilled to bits.  I chose to create a male card.  This image reminds me of my brother when we were teenagers.  Just before I moved out of home we had rooms next to each other and he was learning electric guitar I spent many hours listening to him play, mainly Nirvana.  He still plays guitar but he doesn't have long blonde hair anymore.  So I figure I may just keep this one in my stash till his birthday next year to remind him of old times.

I used:

I really adore the images from Tiddlyinks.  I like that I can resize them to suit the project I'm completing and that I can just print it.  Sometimes when I stamp I am not so successful at getting it right you have those little blank bits in your image and that annoys me :). Onto my card for today (please note I took this photo before the glue had dried on the twine so there isn't a big white dob of glue behind the twine anymore).
I used:
Digital image- Carpenter Joe from Tiddlyinks
Copics on xpress it blending card all from Mad for Markers -
E50, E53, E11, E00, E27, E25, E35, YR18, Yr15, YR12, B37, B34, B32, Y15, C3, C2, C1, R29.
Paper - Kaisercraft kbots Xtron and Surge.
Brown grosgrain ribbon and twine coloured with YR18.

I am entering this card in the The Sweet Stop sketch challenge.

Right I'm off to fold some washing and bring some wood in for the fire.

LOTV

I just love this LOTV image Lazy Afternoon.  I picked this image for my Dad's birthday and when I saw the LOTV's Challenge Blog it fitted perfectly. So I thought I'd make it early (his birthday isn't until October) and I like it.

I used:
Stamp -  Lazy Afternoon from LOTV
Copics on X-Press IT blending card both available at Mad for Markers -
E00, E11, C1, C2, C3, B00, B02, E35, E25, G20, G24.
Patterned Paper - Imaginisce Baby Powder Buble Bath.
The newspaper is actually our local newspaper that I scanned and resized and inked (not sure the brand it was a gift from my Mum).
